Fahrenheit 451

Ray Bradbury – Pulitzer Prize winner and classic of science fiction. His work “Fahrenheit 451” became a response to the politics of McCarthyism, which included the burning of pro-communist literature. This is a cautionary novel. The media may one day convince everyone that firefighters have always started fires, not extinguished them.

Fahrenheit 451 – the temperature at which paper ignites and burns. The main character has been burning books for 10 years. Sometimes along with their owners. His wife sits immovably in the living room, the walls of which are replaced by huge television screens.

Are they happy? The question from the eccentric neighbor, who loves flowers and night walks, puzzles the firefighter. Something clicks in him. The firefighter snatches a book from the flames. And then… a mechanical dog, a chase live on air, and people-books.
