Prayer Book for Children

The prayer book is addressed to children and beginner Christians. It contains the most important prayers that we need every day. Having awakened from sleep, we will meet a new day with a brief morning rule, and in the evening we will prayerfully thank God. The secret words that each person addresses to the Lord will also be useful to us throughout the day: whether we begin some new endeavor or go to church, preparing for confession and communion during the divine service.

The book includes prayers to the Savior, the Most Holy Theotokos, the Guardian Angel, prayers for the living, the deceased, and others. For the first time, explanations of the prayers have been added, which clarify unfamiliar words and interpret the main meanings.

The publication features icons by ancient and modern masters of iconography. They will help us better understand and feel the words of the prayer, directly addressing Christ, the Theotokos, or the saints.
