Studying Git

The basics of Git are covered: installation, graphical interface and command line, local repositories and commits, branches and merges. Hosting services and authentication, working with remote repositories, cloning and local storage are discussed.

Detailed attention is given to three-way merges, merge conflicts, pull requests, and integration of changes from one branch to another using rebasing.

Two end-to-end projects serve to consolidate the material: an educational project demonstrating the basics, and a practical one applicable for real work.
