A fundamental textbook on higher mathematics, translated into many languages of the world, is characterized, on the one hand, by systematicity and rigor of presentation, and on the other hand, by simple language, detailed explanations, and numerous examples. In the second part of the third volume, the basics of the theory of complex variable functions, conformal transformations and plane geometry, the application of the residue theory, whole and fractional functions, analytical functions of many variables and matrix functions, linear differential equations, special functions, matrix reduction to canonical form are considered. In this, the 10th edition, outdated terminology has been noted, some comments related to the methodology of presenting the material, which differs from modern ones, have been made, and typos have been corrected.
