A fundamental textbook on higher mathematics, having undergone more than twenty editions, translated into many languages of the world, is characterized, on the one hand, by systematicity and rigor in its presentation, and on the other hand, by simple language, detailed explanations, and numerous examples illustrating the theory. The second volume covers ordinary differential equations, linear differential equations, and additional information on the theory of differential equations; multiple and curvilinear integrals, improper integrals, and integrals depending on parameters; vector analysis and field theory; fundamentals of differential geometry; Fourier series; partial differential equations of mathematical physics. In this 24th edition, outdated terminology has been noted, some comments related to the methodology of material presentation differing from the modern one have been made, and typos have been corrected.
