Savanih. The Encounters of Lovers. A Sufi Treatise on Mystical Love

Savanih is the first treatise in the history of Persian Sufism dedicated to the psychology of mystical love, which had a tremendous influence on the subsequent development of Sufism. The text is accompanied by comments from Dr. N. Purjavadi, one of the most authoritative researchers of Persian Sufism and, in particular, of the work of Ahmad Ghazali.
