Two Intertwined Crowns

The kingdom is engulfed in a deadly plague, suffering under the tyrant king's oppression, and only the power of a magical deck can save it. Elspet and Raven must find the last and most powerful card — the Card of Two Alders. However, the way to it is known only to the ancient king, the undying Nightmare, who lives in Elspet's mind.

He agrees to a deal, but the girl's mind will have to make room. The shepherd king and Raven embark into the treacherous forest, shrouded in dark mist. Anyone can enter it, but not everyone will be wished to be released back by the Mistress of the Forest. Only a little time remains until the Solstice, and Elspet's patience, having yielded her body to the Nightmare, is at its limit.

But is the shepherd king really that terrible? After all, he asks for nothing in return…
