The Wild Dingo Dog, or The Tale of First Love

Fifteen-year-old Tanya Sabaneeva lives in a small town in the Far East. She goes to school, sometimes gets bad grades, dreams of visiting distant countries, loves to fish and ride dog sleds. Tanya's familiar world is shattered when her father, whom the girl has never seen, unexpectedly arrives in their town, along with his new wife and adopted son Kolya. Mixed feelings overwhelm the girl; resentment and jealousy creep into her heart, but alongside them, unexpectedly, a bright feeling begins to arise, the existence of which she doesn't even suspect...
