Help your people survive the plague in 1347 in Europe
Who is this game for?
For those who prefer games with territory control mechanics.
The essence of the game:
In the board game Rattus: Big Box, players settle various regions of Europe and North Africa. At the same time, the plague begins its victorious march. Players are assisted by representatives of various medieval professions. Some of them, such as peasants and bakers, help players increase their population. Others, such as monks, use wisdom and faith to prevent the dreadful disease, while wars led by knights and soldiers spread the plague to new regions. However, the plague spares no one. When rats appear, no one can feel safe. In the end, the plague retreats, and the game ends.
Rattus: Big Box includes not only several previously released expansions and promos, but also new materials, modules, and bonus cards. In particular, this new edition of the Rattus line contains all materials from the base game and the expansions Pied Piper, Africanus, and Academicus. Additional new content is included, and players can add new modules called “Guilds and Inns” and “Bonus” to create even more variety and complexity.
This set also contains popular bonus cards such as the Judge, the Jester, and Boccaccio, as well as all 27 upgrade tiles.
