Terraforming Mars — a strategic euro-game in which corporations compete to transform Mars into a habitable planet.
Players raise the temperature, enrich the atmosphere with oxygen, create oceans, build cities, and launch large-scale projects.
The action of the game Terraforming Mars takes place in the 2400s. Corporations, sponsored by the World Government on Earth, initiate large-scale projects to raise the temperature, oxygen level, and ocean levels to make Mars habitable. Playing as one of these corporations, you work together in the terraforming process but compete for victory points. Each player acquires unique project cards that represent anything from implementing vegetation or animals, building cities, mining resources on moons, or launching asteroids onto the surface. When the temperature, oxygen level, and ocean reach target values, terraforming is completed, and the game ends after that generation.
