New Organon. Experiments

Francis Bacon (1561-1626) - an English philosopher and statesman, supporter of a proof-based scientific approach and rational analysis of data obtained through experience. «New Organon, or True Directions for the Interpretation of Nature», which Bacon opposes to Aristotle's «Organon», is the second part of the unfinished project «The Great Restoration of Sciences». In this treatise, presented in the form of aphorisms, he criticizes the scholastic approach, describes the delusions that hinder the understanding of nature, and proposes new scientific methods aimed at aiding the development and deepening of knowledge about the world. In «Experiments, or Moral and Political Instructions», Bacon presents his views on various life, economic, and political issues, advocating for the power of England.
