Norflair

Norflair — a city of black marble, shrouded in silvery mist. Here, every sunset paints the cobblestones the color of blood, and the lamps do not shine — they only cast shadows. The main law of Norflair is harsh: only those who are ready to step over themselves will survive. Def Fortis has hidden his true nature all his life. He was the son of the clan leader and wore a mask of virtue until he found himself in chains, and the crowd cried, “Monster!”

But who is more terrifying — he, who did not choose his origin, or those who have kept hybrids in chains for centuries, denying that their thirst for power created the beings that are now feared? 

When brothers turn into enemies, and the city collapses under the onslaught of war and betrayal, Def must make a choice: to remain a shadow or to become the fire that will burn Norflair to the ground, in order to build something new in its place.
