Old Man Khottabych

The fairy tale by Lazar Iosifovich Lagin (1903–1973) "Old Man Khottabych" tells of the incredible adventures of pioneer Volka and a three-thousand-year-old genie who mysteriously found himself in Soviet Moscow. In this edition, the text of the fairy tale is presented in its original version, which was published in 1938.

The story is adorned with wonderful illustrations by Konstantin Pavlovich Rotov (1902–1959): he was the first to illustrate "Old Man Khottabych".
