Emotional-Imagery Therapy is a new domestic method of psychotherapy belonging to the psychodynamic direction. The target of this method is chronic negative emotional states. Since all feelings are experienced in the body and correlate with somatic symptoms, working with the images of these somatic states allows one to realize the psychological causes of the emergence of a particular psychosomatic symptom and effectively address the psychosomatic issues themselves.
