Vasilisa, who experienced bullying and humiliation at school, returns to her hometown as a completely different girl. Now her goal is to start studying at the university and make friends. But on the very first day, all her hopes are shattered: among her classmates, she encounters Dima Vetrov—the cause of her school hell—who tries to court her, not recognizing in the bright girl the "ugly duckling" from the past.
Moreover, her first crush, Lisa, and Dima's older brother, Artyom Vetrov, a boy marked by the sun—from her dark childhood—also appear. He is the one who once, unknowingly, gave her the strength to hold her head up high and move forward.
