Time-I. Doxas and Paradoxes

The book of the outstanding Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin is dedicated to the understanding of time in sacred civilizations and religious teachings. The author describes how time was interpreted by Plato, Aristotle, Iranian religion, Hinduism, and Christianity. In all civilizations, except for Western Europe during the Modern era, time was thought of as the life of the soul, as a spiritual-intellectual rhythm of being, saturated with meanings and flowing from within to the outside. This representation of time is directly opposite to its materialistic interpretation, which forms the basis of modern science. The author believes that this sacred time is genuine and authentic, while modern interpretations are a delusion and a mistake. The analysis and genealogy of the concept of time in Western science and Modern philosophy is dedicated to the second book of this work.
