From Generation to Generation

The prison theme is about punishing a person for crimes against people and the law. The difficulty of writing a documentary book, especially one like this, lies in the fact that it touches the destinies of dozens of people, and any falsity, incorrectness, or lack of delicacy is unacceptable here. One cannot harm in the slightest those who entrusted you with their destinies as if in confession. Everything I learned must benefit others. It is striking that the people I had the opportunity to talk to openly spoke about their personal experiences but showed remarkable diplomacy and caution whenever the conversation turned to someone among their peers, acquaintances, and even adversaries. Such silence, if you will, deserves respect. It is extremely sad when society treats those who have stumbled once negatively and sometimes even aggressively, while many of them need simple human compassion and support.
