Will I Die a Little Fool?

2008. Capricious Varya goes on vacation to Karelia – to visit her grandmother in the village. She is 16 years old, with MTV hits playing in her headphones, craving adventures and summer romances, but her strict father doesn’t allow her to take a step without his knowledge.

In defiance of her father, Varya runs away from home – to a village rascal. But instead of the longed-for freedom, she ends up on a deserted island. Right in the midst of the Mermaid week – the revelry of evil spirits.
