Beyond the Blue Horizon of Events

The Herter-Hollow family, having secured a contract with the "Gates" corporation, is heading to the Oort Cloud to investigate an alien object observed there – the Food Factory. The unique technology of the Factory, which extracts valuable substances from asteroids, has the potential to solve the hunger problem threatening 11 billion inhabitants of Earth. At first glance, the contractors' task does not seem too difficult: to ensure the wonder-machine is functioning properly and then tow it to Earth's orbit with the help of navigation engines. However, upon arrival, they encounter a whole array of problems and mysteries, each capable of baffling an entire research institute. And the most alarming thing – it seems they have discovered... hitches?!
