«The Villain's Assistant»
Evi Sage needs money to feed her family. That's the only reason she agrees to work for the Villain, the greatest enemy of the kingdom. The job, to say the least, isn't ideal: for instance, she has to get used to bodies on the desk and severed heads hanging from the ceiling. And yet it’s hard not to fall in love a little when your boss is a young and handsome Dark King.
But soon it becomes clear that there are rats in the Villain's castle... and not just in the literal sense. A traitor has infiltrated his ranks, intent on helping the noble heroes to destroy the Villain and his vile empire. Now it's up to Evi to figure out who it is before it’s too late. After all, a new decent job is so hard to find these days...
«The Villain's Apprentice»
Evi Sage is happy to be the Villain's assistant. Who would have thought that working for the incredibly handsome (just don’t tell anyone, it’s bad for his image) Dark King would be so comfortable? But maintaining villainous activities takes a lot of energy, and the forces of good are annoyingly persistent. Plus, her boss is temporarily unavailable...
Rennedon is in trouble, and all signs - including Kingsley - point to catastrophe. Something strange is happening with the kingdom's magic. Evi must protect the Villain's lair, his vile business, and possibly the entire kingdom at all costs. What do you mean, absolutely no pressure.
It’s time to step out of her comfort zone and add new skills to her resume: betrayal, proficiency with cold weapons, collusion with the enemy. And it's so... much fun!
But what will happen when the Villain's assistant becomes his apprentice?
