New York. A Map of Love

She is Grace Mitchell, a walking color tornado, cynical and sharp-tongued, the youngest of six children in a hectic and very close-knit family. Her taste for romance has been shattered ever since her ex-boyfriend left her for her best friend.... She is revolted by her own life, and especially her job: she dreams of writing screenplays but writes a column for housewives in a women’s magazine.
He is Matthew Howard, a connoisseur of monochrome suits, an inspiring literature teacher, a jazz aficionado, and an amateur photographer, abandoned by his parents in childhood. He shone at the university before his students, but very recently he was spectacularly fired from his favorite job.
He and she will collaborate — she writes, he photographs. Together they will create an illustrated guidebook to New York — enticing tourists by revealing and showing where the most famous romantic movies of Hollywood were filmed.
And everything would be fine, except that Grace and Matthew have known each other for years. She was his student, and since their first university class, they have hated each other to death.
