Heavenly Ways

The book "Heavenly Ways" was referred to by Ivan Shmelev himself as "the first experience of an Orthodox novel". The plot is based on the fates of the unbelieving engineer Viktor Alexeevich and the meek, deeply pious girl Daria. Thanks to his meeting with Daria, Viktor discovered a new, unfamiliar world, and her love and deep faith helped him navigate the difficult path of life and accept the "heavenly ways".
