Barabbas. A Tale of the Times of Christ

The basics of this story are known to everyone. Two thousand years ago, in honor of the Passover holiday, according to an old local tradition, the fifth procurator of Judea, Pontius Pilate, offered the gathered crowd to release one of the condemned prisoners of their choice. Influenced by the elders and Pharisees, the people demanded the release of the robber Barabbas, condemning Jesus Christ to death. But who was Barabbas himself?
