The card game «Taboo» is an excellent reason to spend time with family or friends! In this game, you will have to explain words to other players without mentioning the concepts from the forbidden list. For each word, there is a list of synonyms and contextually similar concepts, making explanations even more interesting. Test the vocabulary and wit of all participants!
Goal of the game:
Explain to the other players on your team the word written in the colored frame at the top of the card, without saying the words from the list below and their derivatives.
Game play:
The first player is determined by any convenient method.
On their turn, the player sets a minute on the clock, takes the top card with words, and explains the meaning of the word written in the selected color frame. A participant from the opposing team sitting to his right watches to ensure that the player does not mention words from the forbidden list provided in the frame.
If the team guesses the word and the minute has not yet expired, the player can draw the next card from the deck and explain a new word. After the minute has expired, the turn passes to the next player and, accordingly, the next team. If, during the explanation, the player mentions a word from the forbidden list, 1 point is awarded to the opposing team.
End of the game
The game ends when all cards are finished, or it may continue if the players wish. In that case, choose a new color block, shuffle the cards, and continue the game!
The team that scores the most points wins.
