The developing card game «Unomania. Princesses» is an excellent option for an exciting and educational pastime together with a child.
Game process:
Deal 7 cards to each player (if you are playing with small children, you can deal 5). Place the remaining cards face down in the center of the table, and make space for the discard pile next to it. Turn over the top card from the deck and place it in the discard pile — this is the starting card.
Players take turns. On their turn, a player must place one suitable card in the discard pile: it must match in color or in number/image with the starting card (the one on top in the discard pile). If there is no suitable card, the player draws one card from the deck: if it fits, they can play it immediately, if not, the turn ends.
When a player has one card left in their hand, they must warn the others (usually by saying «UNO!» or «One!»). If the player forgets and this is noticed before their next turn starts, by agreement they draw penalty cards from the deck (often 2 cards).
The winner is the one who first gets rid of all their cards.
