Springfield

The debut novel by playwright Sergey Davydov "Springfield" became the first book released by the newly formed publishing house in 2023 and still remains one of the publisher's bestsellers. The text about the love between two guys from Tolyatti is positioned as "a novel of the thirty-somethings, crushed by Russian reality." Although the events of the book take place before 24.02, it is often perceived as an important anti-war statement.

• - it is a novel about a generation that will be cut down. The main character thinks in 2021 that he is moving to a bright future. He does not yet know what awaits him, and in this lies the tragedy of "Springfield." I wrote about a "normal life" that we must keep in memory.
