Kaia, a young shaman, embarks on a journey with a child in her arms, wishing to take revenge on the one who ruined her beloved. The mysterious Blue-eyed spirit, dwelling in the shaman's crown, guides Kaia to the Salt Islands.
Arngrim, the leader of the Vikings, seeks a place that will become his new home, where he will gain true power...His gaze turns to the Salt Islands. 
Hearing of this, the Novgorod ushkuynik Nezhata sets out on a campaign to drive out the Vikings and perhaps establish his own principality on the Salt Islands.
The Nameless Noida continues to help people.
