Boys

«Boys» — a story about the boys who were referred to as «difficult to educate» in the 80s, and about a man who believed in them — Pavel Antonov, played by Valery Priemykhov.
Antonov, an athlete with promise, abandons his career for these boys — he is perhaps the only one who sees them as people and not future criminals. It's not always easy for him to be with them, he doesn't expect gratitude — he simply does what he believes he must do.
And when these «troubled», rejected by society guys, whom «decent» people shy away from, collectively break free and run down the highway to catch and stop one of them, to prevent him from making an irreparable mistake, we begin to see in them what only he, Pavel Antonov, could see.
