The Diaries of Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna 1917-1918 (in two volumes)

On the 400th anniversary of the Romanov House, unique historical documents are being published: the diaries of the last imperial couple. Readers have the opportunity to compare the daily entries of the monarch and his spouse, often about the same events.
The first volume includes diaries from the last months of the reign and the period of house arrest in Tsarskoye Selo before the family was exiled by the Provisional Government to Siberia. In the second volume, the diaries are presented from the beginning of the exile to Siberia until the last day before the execution of the royal family in the basement of the "Ipatiev House".
The publication is illustrated with documentary photographs and contains detailed scientific commentary that widely uses archival documents, the correspondence of the Romanovs, memoirs, and the diaries of close associates.
