Kilometer by Kilometer to Myself. How One Journey Changed My Life

Jennifer Farr Davis — a traveler, writer, and inspiration for thousands of people around the world, and the first woman to set the absolute record for hiking the Appalachian Trail. She has walked over 22,000 kilometers across six continents — from the hot savannas of Africa to the icy peaks of Patagonia.

But it all started with a significant step. After graduating from college and not knowing in which direction to move next, Jennifer chose a path over 3,500 kilometers long, crossing the U.S. from Georgia to Maine. Despite fear and doubt, she set off on a solo journey, hoping to find answers and discover herself.

This journey became a test for her — harsh, relentless, and transformative. Exhausted by pain and loneliness, Jennifer learned to keep going when it seemed like there was no strength left. She discovered the kindness of strangers, the strength of will, and a profound sense of freedom that cannot be found in cities or in therapy.

This story is not just about conquering a trail; it's about something more — how a trial becomes a revelation, and the road becomes a path to oneself. For everyone seeking inspiration, strength, and meaning, "Kilometer by Kilometer to Oneself" will be your guide to inner freedom.
