This collection includes articles, transcripts of lectures, and reports by the outstanding Soviet educator Anton Semenovich Makarenko (1888-1939). They are devoted to both general issues of education and the problems of educating difficult adolescents. The rich practical experience of the author, gained in the 1920s and the first half of the 1930s, provided extremely valuable material for thorough theoretical research, which is relevant even today.
