The monograph "Existential Philosophy of Mircea Eliade: Science, Religion, Culture, Politics" represents a comprehensive and in-depth study of the legacy of the great Romanian and American religious scholar Mircea Eliade (1907-1986). An attempt has been made to recreate Eliade's philosophical paradigm of thought based on biographical data, a comprehensive study of scientific works, philosophical essays, diary entries, and the epistolary legacy of the scholar. For the first time, a number of important sources are introduced into scientific circulation in Russia, allowing a reassessment of Eliade's worldview positions and principles of scientific method. The fruitfulness of applying his philosophical method in various socio-humanitarian contexts is demonstrated.
