Lobster-Traveler is an exciting card game for children and the whole family that develops logical thinking, communication skills, and introduces the diversity of the surrounding world. The rules are simple: participants take turns putting role cards on their foreheads without...
looking, and ask friends leading questions to guess who they are. Answers are only "yes" or "no". Fun, dynamic, and educational!
Preparation for the game:
Shuffle all the cards and lay the deck face down. Put a band on your head, adjusting it to the size of your head. The youngest player takes any card from the deck first and hands it to the sitting player next to them, who helps place it in the band on their forehead. The same is done by all players in a clockwise direction.
Turn of the first player:
The goal of the game is to be the first to understand what item or hero is depicted on the card on their forehead by asking short questions that can only be answered with "yes" or "no." The youngest player goes first, asking questions to the other players, each of whom also has their card on their forehead to guess. On each turn, a player can only ask one question.
Turn of subsequent players:
After the first player receives an answer to their question, the next player in a clockwise direction has the right to ask their question. The game continues in a clockwise direction until one of the players guesses who they are.
Winning the game:
The winner of the round is the player who first guessed who they are—what is depicted on their card on their forehead. If the first to guess is the youngest player who started the game, the other players have the right to ask their last questions until the end of the round. If any of them also guessed who they are, there are multiple winners in the round.
Lobster and Lobster-Traveler:
To make the game even more interesting, you can combine the cards from this game with the cards from the game "Lobster." The cards have the same backs, and you can easily mix both decks to get even more combinations of adjectives and nouns.
