City of Night Birds

Saint Petersburg, 2019. Former prima ballerina Natalia Leonova returns to the city where her rise and fall began. Two years have passed since the accident that divided her life into "before" and "after", and now the once-famous dancer of the Mariinsky and Bolshoi theaters, who conquered Paris and New York, resembles a pitiful version of herself. The ghosts of her former life make their presence felt: her reclusive mother and two talented artists who played important roles in the heroine's drama, gentle Alexander and arrogant Dmitry. The latter makes Natasha an enticing proposal: to return to the ballet world. But what will she have to sacrifice for her dream?
