Once on the main street of a provincial town, squeezed between the desert and the jungle, a charming cheerful stranger appeared, who in just a few days became the favorite of the townspeople and a desired guest in every drinking... establishment.
 
Once settled in the city, the mysterious Don Anselmo unexpectedly began to build a house in the quicksand on the outskirts of the town, and no amount of persuasion could make him abandon his crazy project. No one believed that Don Anselmo would emerge victorious in the endless battle with the sand, however, in due time, the Green House opened its doors.
