Father Alexander Men

Father Alexander Men (1935—1990) is among the outstanding figures of Russia in the second half of the 20th century. It can be said that he became a spiritual shepherd for a whole generation and in the eyes of a vast number of people was a moral leader of the country. A rare understanding of the soul of others was a special gift of Father Alexander. His fiery love was felt by each of his spiritual children, including the author of this book. The moral authority of Father Alexander at one point proved stronger than power. He was killed precisely at the moment when he had the chance to preach to millions of people.
