Board Game - Bear in the House. A game that helps to enjoy life

Little Bear finds it very difficult to experience unpleasant feelings – anger, fear, sadness, disgust. He does not know how to behave when he feels bad. The Bear has hidden in the house, but it is dark and scary there, as an evil wizard has settled one of the unpleasant emotions right on the first floor. Help the Bear drive away the evil wizard. To do this, you need to talk about what scares or angers the Bear, how he behaves in such situations, and what helps him cope with all this. Explain what is happening to the Bear and earn stars for it. The one who collects the most stars will be able to light up the house and make it cozy and safe.

While playing, you can teach the child to recognize and name their feelings, understand when and why they arise, talk about what they want to do in difficult situations, and how to deal with their feelings.

The game is intended for specialists (primarily psychologists and educators) and parents. The materials can be used as metaphorical cards in individual and group psychological work with preschool children, as well as in family work.

Game Rules:

Before starting the game, it is important to talk about the fact that experiencing different feelings is normal, that all people, when faced with difficult situations, experience many different emotions, and often in the same situation different people can experience different feelings – and this is also normal. It makes sense to tell the children that they should not be afraid of “bad” feelings; instead, they can observe how feelings manifest and try to imagine or remember what helps them cope with difficult times.
