A Bag of Apples

A large family of rabbits went to the forest to gather food for his big family. He filled a bag with apples, but on the way home he met various forest inhabitants and generously shared the ripe fruits with everyone.... First, he treated the bear, then the squirrels, the hedgehog, the goat with its kids, and the mole. And with the last apple, the generous rabbit treated the grumpy crow. And she took it, although she complained that the hungry bunnies would get nothing.
 
The rabbit had to return to the apple tree to gather more apples, but it wasn't easy. First, he was caught in a downpour with a thunderstorm, and upon reaching the apple tree, he saw the Wolf, who was very pleased – such a tasty prey came right to him. But the rabbit threw an empty bag over the wolf's head and was off.
 
Meanwhile, while the rabbit mother and the little bunnies waited for their dad, animals that the hero had given apples to began to come to their house with gifts. The squirrels brought nuts, the hedgehog a basket of mushrooms, the goat cabbage and milk, and the mole brought carrots, potatoes, parsley, and beets.
 
When the unfortunate, soaked, and tired rabbit returned home with empty paws, his well-fed little ones were already asleep. And just at the end, startling everyone with a loud knock, came the bear with a barrel of honey in thanks for the apples.
 
On the next day, the large family of rabbits sat at a table full of various treats. And the crow was amazed – how from an empty bag so much goodness appeared.
 
Good deeds are always rewarded. Be generous and responsive – and everything will return in greater measure. And it is not worth imitating the envious and evil crow.
