How many of them there are — women with a dull gaze. Those who gave up happiness in the name of conventions, duty, the preservation of a family that didn't actually exist. Because a family is made up of people... who love each other.
Upon becoming an adult, Lida realized that her domineering mother and gentle, kind father were unlikely to be happy with one another. Then her father introduced her to Tasia — a woman with whom he was truly happy and who had waited for him for many years, knowing full well that he would never come for good.
