Letters to Lucilius

Lucius Annaeus Seneca – the greatest Roman philosopher, the first representative of Stoicism in the ancient world. The ancient Greek thinker Posidonius played a special role in shaping the philosopher's views. In turn, Seneca's moral position and system of values had a strong influence on his contemporaries and subsequent generations. This collection includes selected "Moral Letters to Lucilius," the tragedies "Medea," "Phaedra," "Agamemnon," and "Octavia," and the philosophical treatise "On the Happy Life."
