Azure Castle

Velancy Sterling, who is already twenty-nine years old, has lived her whole life with a domineering mother and a nagging aunt, always in the shadow of a family that suppresses all her aspirations, judges her, and considers her an old maid. But everything changes with the doctor's diagnosis - she is dying, and she has a year to live. Now Velancy decides to live completely differently, breaking the cage that her family has built around her, challenging conventions. Velancy transforms, discovers the world from new perspectives, and breathes deeply. She runs away from home, settles with a questionable person in the eyes of others, and takes care of his sick daughter. And then she meets Barney Snate, and the events unfold even more intensely. Velancy finds her imagined "Azure Castle," which she had to mentally escape to all her life, in the real world. This story is about the search for oneself, the courage to live, and a love that can change even the darkest prospects.
