Tabletop Game - Uprising

No one remembers the day when all power passed into the hands of the Empire – it was so long ago. Over the years of rule, the people lost hope and nearly stopped believing that the situation could be changed... in any way. However, there exists a force ready to fight to the last. The resistance is unbroken and determined to fight for freedom until the very end! All necessary intelligence has been gathered, actions are meticulously coordinated, and unrest, like sparks, begins to flare up in the most diverse corners. The revolution is just around the corner – it has already begun.

"Uprising" is a duel strategic game with asymmetric gameplay. One of the participants will lead the forces of the resistance, while the other will take control of the Imperial forces and suppress the people's unrest. For the rebels to win, they need to seize control of 3 out of 5 districts of the city. Each side will face a completely different gameplay experience. On their turn, the resistance attacks 2 neighboring districts, playing 3 cards: one face up and two face down. These can be Rebellion, Equipment, Propaganda, or Diversion. To seize a district, a specific combination of cards must be collected. The Empire, on its turn, uses 2 power tokens, with which it plays 2 of 4 available actions: Espionage, Disorientation, Elimination, and Quarantine. They allow spying on the resistance's closed cards and even discarding them. It is important to anticipate what the opponent will do in order to make a savvy move: will the resistance invest in one powerful attack and should they discard more of their cards now, or is this a provocation, and it is better to save a powerful action for a later stage? Bluff, read your opponent, devise a winning strategy, and lead your side to victory!
