Board Game - Rebellion

No one remembers the day when the Empire seized all power – it was so long ago. Over the years of rule, the people have lost hope and almost stopped believing that the situation can be changed at all. However,... there is a force ready to fight to the last. The resistance is unbroken and intends to fight for freedom until the very end! All necessary intelligence has been gathered, actions have been carefully coordinated, and unrest, like sparks, begins to flare up in various corners. The revolution is not far off – it has already begun.

"Rebellion" is a duel strategic game with asymmetric gameplay. One participant will lead the forces of resistance, while the other will take control of the Empire's forces and suppress the popular unrest. For the rebels to win, they need to control 3 out of 5 districts of the city. Each side faces a completely different gameplay experience. On their turn, the resistance attacks 2 neighboring districts, playing 3 cards: one face up and two face down. These can be Rebellion, Equipment, Propaganda, or Diversion. To capture a district, a specific combination of cards must be collected. The Empire, on the other hand, uses 2 power tokens on its turn, with which it plays 2 out of 4 available actions: surveillance, disorientation, elimination, and siege. They allow the Empire to peek at the resistance's face-down cards and even discard them. It's important to anticipate what the opponent will do in order to make a strategic move: will the resistance invest in one powerful attack, and should they discard more of their cards now, or is it a provocation, and it’s better to save a powerful action for a later phase. Bluff, read your opponent, devise a winning tactic, and lead your side to victory!
