Street of Blood Color

Combat novels about the daily heroism of Soviet frontline scouts. A duel of strength and spirit, when the enemy's front line is just a few steps away. Details of brutal battles that even veterans—participants of those events—do not recount. The year is 1944. In Lviv, along with the fascists, the Polish from the Home Army hold sway. The Polish government-in-exile sends a letter to the commandant of the Lviv district, informing him about the upcoming military operation "Tempest," aimed at preventing Soviet influence in the part of Poland that has been ceded to the USSR. The Soviet command directs Captain Gleb Shubin, leading a group of scouts, to sneak into occupied Lviv and obtain this letter at any cost. Shubin is no stranger to dangerous missions. But how to infiltrate a city swarming with enemies and not fall into the clutches of the Gestapo? Frontline experience suggests a very unusual trick to the captain… The total circulation of the author's books exceeds 10 million copies.
