Russian Herbalist

«Russian Herbalist» — a legendary book compiled at the end of the 19th century by the famous pharmacist Goretsky and an expert in folk medicine, Doctor Vtorov. At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century,... «Herbalist» went through several reprints, but after the revolution, it became a rarity.


The book contains more than 300 articles about medicinal herbs, flowers, roots, and leaves of healing plants, which can still be found today in Russian forests, fields, and in garden plots.


A unique feature of this edition is the hundreds of botanical illustrations, most of which are published in modern Russia for the first time.
