"Crusaders" – is a large-scale strategic game that combines area control and well-thought-out Euro mechanics. The action takes place in the Levant – on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea – in the 12th century, immediately after the First... Crusade. This is a time of great ambitions, bloody wars, and fragile alliances.
Each player takes control of one of the four Crusader states and uses all available forces to assert influence and increase the wealth of their state. You will need to develop cities, manage trade, appoint governors, send spies, and lead an army of seasoned knights into battle. However, victory in these lands requires not only the sword but also tactics – for the event cards and constant Saracen raids can destroy even the most far-sighted plans. Only the bravest survive in the Levant.
