In the house of the Stahlbaum family, Christmas arrives.
Godfather Drosselmeyer gives the children many gifts, and little girl Marie receives an unusual toy – a Nutcracker, which can crack nuts with its toy teeth. At the party, the children have...
fun, but carelessly, brother Fritz breaks the Nutcracker's teeth and throws it under the Christmas tree. Later, when everyone falls asleep, Marie quietly visits the toy, and suddenly the magic begins: the Christmas tree grows to enormous sizes, dolls and soldiers come to life, and hordes of mice attack the toys. The Nutcracker becomes a brave hero and leads the army into battle with the Mouse King. At the most dangerous moment, Marie helps the Nutcracker by throwing her slipper at the king, defeating evil. After this victory, the Nutcracker transforms into a handsome prince and invites Marie to a magical fairyland, where new wonders await them – beautiful dances, enchanting landscapes, and joyful adventures.
Marie is happy, her dreams come true, and the night of Christmas becomes a time of special magic for her.
