If numbers and digits govern our lives, it doesn't necessarily mean that life becomes mathematically precise and comprehensible. The hero of "Numbers" – a businessman from the Yeltsin era, Stepan – has been afraid of the number 43 all his life and trusted the number 34. One led to grief and losses, the other – to luck and success. And he even loved the film about three tankmen and a dog precisely because there were three tankmen and the dog was the fourth! But true freedom lies in the irrational, where there is neither three nor four, only a small travel bag, a passport with an open visa, a heart in the chest, and a bundle of dollars in the pocket…
