In "The Mask of Mars," the human psyche will again and again have to engage in a duel with the no less sophisticated and contradictory psyche of the machines. In "Brother Berserker," the war will continue not only in space but also in time. And in "Planet of Death," a wounded and mad enemy ship will find a secret refuge and even create its own religious cult.
