"Harry Potter: Defense Against the Dark Arts" is a dynamic deck-building game for two players, where each round is filled with intense duels. You start with a basic deck, but gradually upgrade it by acquiring new spell, item, and ally cards. Your goal is to incapacitate your opponent by moving their token on the practical workpad to the "stun" space.
The uniqueness of the game lies in the special mechanics of the houses. By choosing Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff, you gain access to special effects of the cards. Allies enhance your capabilities, while curses add an element of surprise. Colorful illustrations, attack and health tokens, and a detailed board create a unique atmosphere of the magical world.
On your turn, you play cards from your hand, applying their effects: attack your opponent, heal yourself, or acquire new cards in class and library. Spells and items provide instant advantages, while allies stay with you throughout the round, enhancing your strategy. Don't forget about curses – they can turn the tide of the duel! Use seal tokens to purchase powerful cards and build a deck that will lead you to victory.
The winner is the first player to "stun" their opponent three times. After each success, a new round begins: decks are shuffled, tokens return to the start, and the battle ignites again – with new strengths and strategies!
