The life of the famous Bulgarian prophetess Vanga is a story of a woman who was forced to start making predictions just to earn a living, but subsequently could never leave this occupation. Vanga endured hunger, poverty, and illness. However,... when prosperity came to her home, far too many wanted to take advantage of it. The blind woman did not experience happiness in her personal life, satisfaction from her work, or human warmth. She died completely disappointed in people, bitterly realizing her own loneliness. Actively giving advice to those around her, Vanga failed to cope with her problems or predict a happier fate for herself. The prophetess called her life, full of deprivation and suffering, an unbearable burden.
